The Cybathlon is a unique event which has generated interest across the world as a truly groundbreaking venture that will take technology out of the laboratory to the people who need it most. This non-profit event is organized by ETH Zurich and supported by many distinguished partners. On October 8th, 2016, we expect several thousand people watching the championship at the SWISS Arena in Kloten. The rehearsal (with more than 40 teams, but without audience) will take place on July 13th-15th, 2015, at the same place. To learn more about the Cybathlon, please visit www.cybathlon.com. To make already the rehearsal event a success, we are currently looking for volunteers for Tuesday, the 14th of July. You might for example be assigned to spotting the athletes as they complete the race course, preventing them from falls. However, depending on our needs, you might also be appointed to other tasks. Interested?

Take this opportunity to be a part of something new and game changing. By volunteering at the event, you help to pave the way towards the Cybathlon becoming a regular and world recognised event!

As the Cybathlon is a non-profit event, your support will not be paid, but we will offer food & beverages and you will get a souvenir. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to meet experts in the field of assistive devices and rehabilitation robotics, and to get in touch with cutting-edge technology! Also, you will be invited to the staff party, which will take place a few weeks after the Cybathlon in 2016.

Altogether, volunteering will take up the full day on Tuesday, the 14th of July (approximately from 9am to 6pm), plus about 2 hours for instructions prior to the event.
